Claims (3)
- 胴部の上端から上方に向けて漸次縮径する肩部と、この肩部の上端から上方に延びる筒状の首部と、この首部の上端部を周回して外方に膨出する凸条状または内方に膨出する凹溝状の余肉部と、この余肉部の上端から上方に延びる筒状部と、該筒状部の上端から開口端部に向けて漸次縮径するテーパ部とを有する中間成形体を形成する中間成形体形成工程と、
右ねじ状凸部及びこの右ねじ状凸部の下方を周回する外方に膨出した中子膨出部を有する中子と左ねじ状凸部及びこの左ねじ状凸部の下方を周回する外方に膨出した外子膨出部を有する外子とを備えるねじ成形ツールを用いて、前記中子を前記筒状部及び前記余肉部の内側に配置するとともに前記外子を前記筒状部及び前記余肉部の外側に配置し、これら中子及び外子の間に前記余肉部及び前記筒状部近傍を挟み込み、その挟み込み状態で前記ねじ成形ツールを前記筒状部の周方向に沿って前記中間成形体の開口端から底部に向けた方向に見て左回りに公転させながら転動させることにより前記中間成形体にねじ部及びこのねじ部の下部を周回して外方に膨出する顎部を形成するねじ部形成工程と
を有し、
前記中間成形体形成工程では、前記筒状部の外径を前記ねじ部形成工程後の前記ねじ部の山部の外径と谷部の外径との間の中間の外径に形成し、
前記ねじ成形ツールは、前記ねじ部形成工程の前記挟み込み状態において前記中子の前記右ねじ状凸部と前記外子の左ねじ状凸部の谷底との間及び前記中子の前記右ねじ状凸部の谷底と前記外子の左ねじ状凸部との間に、前記中間成形体の板厚よりも大きいクリアランスを形成するように設けられ、
前記ねじ部形成工程後の前記ねじ部において、最大径部分を含む所定範囲における前記山部の隣接する前記谷部からの平均高さをhと設定するとともに、前記ねじ部の上方側において前記山部の隣接する前記谷部からの高さが0.5hとなる位置を0°のねじ始まり部、このねじ始まり部から360°の位置を二段目始まり部と設定し、
前記中子の前記右ねじ状凸部において、前記ねじ部の前記二段目始まり部を形成する部分を二段目始まり形成部として、
前記ねじ部形成工程では、前記ねじ始まり部における缶軸方向に沿う前記中間成形体の縦断面において前記テーパ部と前記筒状部との間の屈曲部が前記中子の前記二段目始まり形成部の山部とその上方の谷部との間に配置されるように、前記ねじ成形ツールと前記中間成形体とを配置し、
前記ねじ始まり部から360°の前記二段目始まり部までの範囲において前記山部の外径が増大するように、かつ前記ねじ始まり部から90°の範囲において前記山部の隣接する前記谷部からの高さが0.5hを超えてh未満となるように前記山部を形成し、
前記中間成形体の前記テーパ部の途中位置に前記ねじ始まり部を形成するとともに前記テーパ部から前記筒状部にかけてねじ部を形成する
ことを特徴とするねじ付きボトル缶の製造方法。 - 前記テーパ部は、缶軸方向に対して10°〜30°の角度であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のねじ付きボトル缶の製造方法。
- 前記ねじ部形成工程の後に、前記開口端部を折り返しながら丸め、さらに半径方向内方に押しつぶすことにより前記ねじ部より上方にカール部を形成するカーリング加工工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のねじ付きボトル缶の製造方法。
