Claims (3)
- シャンクと、先端に砥粒部が形成されて前記シャンクの先端側に設けられた穿孔部とを備え、硬脆材料に孔を開けるための孔開けドリルにおいて、
前記穿孔部の前記砥粒部には、側面が削がれた切り欠きであるチップポケットが両側に形成されると共に、前記砥粒部の先端面が凸曲面となっていることを特徴とする孔開けドリル。 - 請求項1に記載の孔開けドリルであって、
前記先端面が略球面状であることを特徴とする孔開けドリル。 - 請求項2に記載の孔開けドリルであって、
前記穿孔部が半径r1の略円柱形状であり、球面の半径rが、r1と略等しいことを特徴とする孔開けドリル。
