Abstract
Description
本発明の電流センサを用いたバッテリーは、電流線を備えたバッテリー本体と、この電流線に取り付けられた電流センサとを具備する。このような構成を有するバッテリーにおいて充放電制御を行ってバッテリーのマネジメントを行う場合(バッテリーマネジメントシステム)について説明する。
Claims (7)
- 被測定電流からの誘導磁界により特性が変化する磁気センサ素子、及び前記磁気センサ素子の近傍に配置され、前記誘導磁界を相殺するキャンセル磁界を発生するフィードバックコイルを含み、前記フィードバックコイルに通電して前記誘導磁界と前記キャンセル磁界とが相殺される平衡状態となったときの前記フィードバックコイルに流れる電流をセンサ出力する複数の磁気平衡式センサと、一つ以外の磁気平衡式センサのON/OFFを切り替える切り替え手段と、を具備することを特徴とする電流センサ。
- 一対の磁気平衡式センサが前記被測定電流を通流する導体を挟んで配置されており、前記一対の磁気平衡式センサにおけるそれぞれの磁気センサ素子の感度軸方向が同じであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電流センサ。
- 前記切り替え手段は、外部信号により前記一つ以外の磁気平衡式センサのON/OFFを切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の電流センサ。
- 相対的に小さい被測定電流の領域で前記一つ以外の磁気平衡式センサをOFFすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の電流センサ。
- 前記磁気平衡式センサのON/OFF状態を示す信号を外部に出力することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の電流センサ。
- 前記磁気センサ素子が磁気抵抗効果素子であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の電流センサ。
- 電流線を備えたバッテリー本体と、前記電流線に取り付けられ、請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の電流センサと、を具備することを特徴とするバッテリー。
