Claims (6)
- 光透過性かつ可撓性を有するチューブ内の液体の有無を検知するものであって、チューブ固定部と、発光部と、受光部と、を備えており、
前記チューブ固定部は、光透過性の材料からなり、互いに対向する一対の面で前記チューブを挟持して、前記チューブ内に液体が流動可能な空間を維持しつつ前記チューブを圧着することが可能なように構成してあり、
前記互いに対向する一対の面の一方は、前記発光部から発した光の光軸に対して、前記発光部から発した光が全反射するような角度に傾斜した入射面である流路センサ。 - 前記光が全反射するような角度は、前記入射面に対する前記発光部から発した光の入射角をθIとし、かつ、前記チューブ固定部の材料の屈折率をnIとし、空気の屈折率をnRとする時、sinθI=nR/nIが成り立つ臨界角θIより大きい角度である請求項1記載の流路センサ。
- 前記発光部及び受光部は、フォトインタラプタを構成している請求項1又は2記載の流路センサ。
- 前記フォトインタラプタは、遮光型又は透過型のものである請求項3記載の流路センサ。
- 請求項1、2、3又は4記載の流路センサに用いてチューブを固定するものであって、
光透過性の材料からなり、
互いに対向する一対の面で前記チューブを挟持して、前記チューブ内に液体が流動可能な空間を維持しつつ前記チューブを圧着することが可能なように構成してあり、
前記互いに対向する一対の面の一方は、前記発光部から発した光の光軸に対して、前記発光部から発した光が全反射するような角度に傾斜した入射面であるチューブ固定具。 - 前記互いに対向する一対の面の他方は、前記入射面に平行な出射面である請求項5記載のチューブ固定具。
