Claims (19)
- 第一被接合物と第二被接合物と、前記第一被接合物と前記第二被接合物の間に配置され前記第一被接合物と前記第二被接合物とを接合する接合層とを含み、
前記接合層は、厚さ方向において前記第一被接合物側の気孔率が前記第二被接合物側の気孔率よりも高い領域aと、厚さ方向において前記第二被接合物側の気孔率が前記第一被接合物側の気孔率よりも高い領域bと、を含み、
前記領域aと前記領域bとが前記厚さ方向と垂直な方向に並んで形成されている接合体。 - 前記接合層の厚さをtとしたとき、前記領域aの前記第一被接合物と前記接合層との界面から0.5tの厚さの接合層を接合層aα、前記接合層aαから前記第二被接合物までの0.5tの厚さの接合層を接合層aβとし、
前記領域bの前記第一被接合物と前記接合層との界面から0.5tの厚さの接合層を接合層bα、前記接合層bαから前記第二被接合物までの0.5tの厚さの接合層を接合層bβとし、
前記領域aの前記接合層aαと前記接合層aβの気孔率をεa1、εa2としたとき、εa1/εa2≧1.05であり、
前記領域bの前記接合層bαと前記接合層bβの気孔率をεb1、εb2としたとき、εb1/εb2<0.95である請求項1に記載の接合体。 - 前記接合層は、前記領域a及び前記領域bのいずれの特徴も備えない領域cを含み、前記接合層の前記領域a、前記領域b及び前記領域cの接合界面の面積を、それぞれSa、Sb及びScとしたとき、
0≦Sc/(Sa+Sb+Sc)<0.8
である請求項1または2に記載の接合体。 - 前記接合界面の面積Sa及びSbが、0.3<Sa/(Sa+Sb)<0.7である請求項3に記載の接合体。
- 前記接合層が、前記領域a及び前記領域bのいずれか一方のみで構成されるのではなく、隣り合う前記領域a及び前記領域bを一組として、その組み合わせを一組以上含む構成からなる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 前記領域a及び前記領域bが前記接合層において繰り返されて並んで配置されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 前記領域a及び前記領域bが前記接合層において、接合界面の長辺方向に垂直な方向に繰り返される繰返し配置を含む請求項6に記載の接合体。
- 前記領域a及び前記領域bが前記接合層において、接合界面の長辺方向に平行な方向に繰り返される繰返し配置を含む請求項6又は7に記載の接合体。
- 前記領域a及び前記領域bが前記接合層において、市松模様状の繰返し配置を含む請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 前記領域a及び前記領域bの繰り返される構成で配置されるときに、前記領域aと領域bの繰り返し方向の幅が、接合界面の短辺の1/3以下である請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 市松模様を構成する繰返し配置において、領域a及び領域bのそれぞれ一辺の長さが、接合界面の短辺の1/3以下である請求項9に記載の接合体。
- 前記接合層は、無機粒子及び無機接着剤を主成分とする接合材組成物を硬化することにより得られるものである請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 前記無機接着剤にコロイダルシリカが含まれる請求項12に記載の接合体。
- 前記無機粒子に板状粒子及び繊維状粒子の少なくとも一方が含まれる請求項12又は13に記載の接合体。
- 前記第一被接合物及び前記第二被接合物は、ハニカムセグメントである請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- ディーゼル排気ガス浄化用に利用される請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の接合体。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の接合体の製造方法であって、前記領域a及び前記領域bを形成するために、前記第一被接合物、前記第二被接合物のいずれか一方の接合界面に接合材組成物の硬化を促進する硬化促進剤を予め塗布しておく接合体の製造方法。
- 前記領域aを形成するために、第二被接合物の接合界面の一部にpH調整剤を前記硬化促進剤として塗布し、前記領域bを形成するために、第一被接合物の接合界面の一部にpH調整剤を前記硬化促進剤として塗布する請求項17に記載の接合体の製造方法。
- 前記pH調整剤は、クエン酸である請求項18に記載の接合体の製造方法。
