Abstract
Description
P/S変換部116でパラレルデータをシリアルデータに変換した後、CP付加部118でマルチパス効果を低減するためのサイクリックプレフィックス(cyclic prefix)がOFDMシンボルに付加される。送信前に、D/A変換部120によってデジタル信号はアナログ信号に変換される。各送信機チェーンでの各種処理を経た後、信号はそれぞれの割り当てられた送信アンテナ122によって送信可能な状態になる。
アダプテーションに使用することは、リンク品質の差を決定するうえでそれほど複雑でもなく、時間もさほどかからない方法として有用である。

Claims (11)
- 直交波周波数分割多重(OFDM)を用いる複数入力複数出力(MIMO)通信システムにおける自動再送要求(ARQ)の再送信方法であって、
受信機において、送信機から受信したデータに対して前記送信機の送信アンテナごとに巡回冗長検査(CRC)を実行するステップと、巡回冗長検査の結果に基づいて肯定応答(ACK)あるいは否定応答(NACK)のフィードバック情報を送信機へ送るステップと、を具備し、
前記送信機において、前記フィードバック情報に基づいて再送信が必要なデータストリームを特定するステップと、否定応答のフィードバック情報のデータの再送信モードを選択するステップと、を具備し、
前記再送信モードを選択するステップでは、
(a)再送信するデータを前回の送信と同じアンテナで送信し、同時にデータ再送信の要求がないアンテナで新しいデータを送信するモード、
(b)再送信するデータを再送信の要求がないアンテナで送信し、同時にそのほかのアンテナで新しいデータを送信するモード、
(c)再送信の要求がないアンテナで空間的ダイバーシチ技法である空間−時間ブロック符号化(STBC)を用いてデータを再送信するモード、
(d)すべての使用可能なアンテナで空間−時間ブロック符号化(STBC)を用いてデータを再送信するモード、の中からいずれかのモードを選択する。 - 請求項1に記載の再送信方法は、
アンテナのストリームを特定するステップにおいて、送信アンテナ・ストリームごとに長期間のARQ統計を保存し、前記長期間のARQの統計情報を用いてリンク・アダプテーションの決定を行うことをさらに含む。 - 請求項2に記載の再送信方法は、
リンク・アダプテーションが適応変調及び符号化と電力制御を含む。 - 請求項1に記載の再送信方法は、
再送信データ速度を高めるために再送信時にはより高次の変調を用いる。 - 請求項1に記載の再送信方法は、
再送信時にインタリービング・パターンの異なる組を用いることによってOFDMサブキャリア間のフェーディングの差異及びランダム度の効果の均衡を保つ。 - 直交波周波数分割多重(OFDM)を用いる複数入力複数出力(MIMO)通信システムにおける自動再送要求(ARQ)の再送信方法であって、

受信機が、送信機から受信したデータに対して前記送信機の送信アンテナごとに巡回冗長検査(CRC)を実行するCRC処理部と、巡回冗長検査の結果に基づいて肯定応答(ACK)あるいは否定応答(NACK)のフィードバック情報を送信機へ送るACK/NACK出力部と、を具備し、
前記送信機が、前記フィードバック情報に基づいて再送信が必要なデータストリームを特定するエラー・データ・ストリーム検出部と、否定応答のフィードバック情報のデータの再送信モードを選択する再送信モード選択部と、を具備し、
前記再送信モード選択部は、
(a)再送信するデータを前回の送信と同じアンテナで送信し、同時にデータ再送信の要求がないアンテナで新しいデータを送信するモード、
(b)再送信するデータを再送信の要求がないアンテナで送信し、同時にそのほかのアンテナで新しいデータを送信するモード、
(c)再送信の要求がないアンテナで空間的ダイバーシチ技法である空間−時間ブロック符号化(STBC)を用いてデータを再送信するモード、
(d)すべての使用可能なアンテナで空間−時間ブロック符号化(STBC)を用いてデータを再送信するモード、の中からいずれかのモードを選択する。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムは、
受信機から得たARQ統計を収集する多重ACK/NACK受信部をさらに含む。
