Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductor having a high critical temperature and a critical magnetic field, comprising a specific element of group IIA of the periodic table, a specific element of group III of the periodic table, copper and oxygen. CONSTITUTION:The superconductor is shown by the composition formula LxM2-xCuO4-y. In the formula, L is one or more elements among elements of group A of the periodic table except Ra, M is one or more elements of group III of the periodic table except actinide elements and T and the composition range is in 0<x<2 and 0<y<2. The superconductor, for example, is produced in the following method. Namely, a mixed aqueous solution of copper nitrate and plural element nitrates is incorporated with an acid to coprecipitate copper oxide and plural element oxides and the sediment is sintered and oxidized.
