Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the consumption of power source, by a method wherein a motor is driven by the program of a micro-computer and the elevation as well as the ignition of a wick is controlled by working cam switches ON/OFF while the troubles of both switches are detected to output alarms. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 3 is turned ON, a motor 8 is rotated through a micro-computer 1 to elevate a wick by the ON operation of a cam switch B6 while the cam switch A5 is turned ON, the motor is stopped immediately after the elevation of the wick and the wick is ignited by a heater 11. After finishing the ignition, the motor 8 is driven again to elevate the wick to the optimum burning position, then, the cam switch B6 is turned OFF to stop the motor and hold the condition. When a fire shut-off switch 4 is turned ON, the motor 8 is driven and the cam switch A5 is turned OFF to stop combustion. When the faulty contact or faulty welding in both cam switches A5, B6 is detected by the micro-computer 1, it is warned by an alarming member 9 and an indicating member 10. The operation of combustion may be controlled correctly and the consumption of a battery can be prevented in such a manner.
