Abstract

PURPOSE:To control combustion operation correctly, by a method wherein a motor is driven by the program of a micro-computer while the sequence control of the elevation as well as ignition of a wick and shut-off of a flame is effected by the ON/OFF of cam switches operated by the motor. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 3 is turned ON, a motor 8 is rotated through a micro-computer 1 to elevate a wick by the ON operation of a cam switch B6 while the cam switch A5 is turned ON, immediately thereafter, the motor is stopped and the wick is ignited by a heater 11. After finishing the ignition, the motor 8 is driven again to elevate the wick to the optimum burning position, then, the cam switch B6 is turned OFF to stop the motor and hold the condition. When a fire shut-off switch A is turned ON, the motor 8 is driven again to turn the cam switch A5 OFF and lower the wick until the combustion is stopped, however, some times the cam switch A5 is not positioned at a predetermined position of notch of a rotary disc or an automatic ignition starting position, therefore, the motor 8 is driven again to position the wick at the optimum position for starting the automatic ignition. According to this method, combustion operation can be correctly controlled.
