Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately detect a specific temperature by not discharging a magnetic field at a superconducting critical temperature or lower out of a coating of a superconducting material around a magnet, and discharging it at the critical temperature or higher out of this coating. CONSTITUTION:A switch SW1 in which a heat sensitive magnet having a magnet 1 covered with a superconductor 2 is disposed is composed. The superconductor 2 does not exhibits the property of a magnet at its critical temperature or lower, and holds an input terminal 3 and an output terminal 4 in a conductive state. When the temperature of the superconductor 2 becomes the critical temperature or higher, the superconductor 2 becomes a normal conductive, a sensing magnet becomes normal conductive, and operates as a magnet. Accordingly, the contact piece of the switch SW1 is driven to turn OFF between the terminals 2 and 3. Thus, the switch can be switched without necessity of special energy by the variation in the environmental temperature. In this manner, specific temperature (according to the material or manufacturing method of the superconducting material) can be accurately and stably detected.
