Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a uniform image high in image density and small in uneven density to be recorded in a wide humidity range by forming an undercoat layer containing a pigment and a resin between a support and a conductive layer and specifying the gas permeability of the support. CONSTITUTION:The conductive layer containing an electron-conductive powder obtained by coating the surface of an inorganic compound with stannic oxide and a small amount of antimony is formed on the support, and the undercoat layer containing the pigment and the resin is formed between the support and the conductive layer, and the surface of the undercoat layer is regulated to a pH of 4-8 and the gas permeability of the support provided with the undercoat layer is regulated to >=50sec/100cc, thus permitting the obtained recording body to form an image free from unevenness of image density, and superior in natural property as the paper and a image density in a wide humidity range.
