Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect the optical path position of laser light by arranging thermocouples at equal intervals at the periphery of a disk which has a passing hole for the laser light in its center part, detecting temperature while moving them to the center of the hole, and performing arithmetic operation. CONSTITUTION:The passing hole 2 for the laser light is bored in the disk 4. When the disk 15 is rotated by a motor 15 through a ball screw 13 and a force receiver 12, four thermocouples 3 move toward the center radially through a guide window 8 and a pin 11. When the signal levels of the four thermocouples 13 reach a predetermined level, positions a-d are detected by an encoder 16 coupled with the motor 15. At this time, the quantities a+b/2 and c+d/2 of deviation of the laser light passing through the hole 2 from the center of a base 1 are calculated. Consequently, the optical path position of the laser light is easily detected.
