Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain combustion and melting in a stable state corresponding to an amount intended to be molten, by a method wherein an unburnt substance remaining in a conveyed incineration ash is burnt and molten in the incineration ash, a conveyance amount and a discharge amount are detected, and the incinerated substance is melted at a high temperature through control of an air feed amount and a conveyance speed. CONSTITUTION:An integrated computing device 20 compares a detected conveyance amount VA with a detected discharge amount VS in consideration of a fact that ash is burnt and melted in an ash melting furnace 2. In the case of the conveyance amount VA> the discharge amount VS, a VA-VS amount of conveyed incinerated ash A is discharged in an unmolten state, and a command is emitted to an operation control device 26 to increase air for melting. In the case of the conveyance amount VA< the discharge amount VS, it is indicated that a conveyance amount is low and an amount of the incineration ash A in the furnace is gradually decreased, and low air excess factor combustion is effected in a state to decrease an amount of air for melting by means of the operation control device 26. Since a balance between a conveyance and a discharge amount to and from the ash melting furnace 2 is normally checked, this constitution enables maintenance of high temperature combustion and melting in an a proper state responding to a state in the furnace.
