CONSTITUTION:A high-carbon steel sheet for heat treatment which has a composition containing, by weight, 0.50-1.50% C, 1.30-2.00% Si, 0.70-1.00% Mn, <=0.02% P, <=0.01% S, 0.005-0.015% Al, and 0.01-1.00% Cr and also has a microstructure in which lumpy graphite of 5-50mum comprises >=80% of C and the remaining C is formed into spheroidal cementite of <=5mum and they are uniformly dispersed in a ferritic matrix is blanked and then subjected to heat treatment.
