Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable accurate control of an air-conditioning equipment, by judging the sense of being hot and cold of a human body using a heat generating element for batch detection of atmospheric temperature, air current and radiant heat and a humidity sensor to determine a warmth condition of the environment accurately. CONSTITUTION:An upper open hole of a hollow body 10 having a better reflecting surface to light and heat is provided with a porous cover 11 and a heat generating element 8 is provided inside as varying in the resistance with own temperature. The heat generating element 8 performs a radiant heat exchange, convective heat exchange or the like with an ambient environment. The hollow body 10 is formed in the shape and dimensions so that a ratio of convective heat transmission and radiant heat transmission between the heat generating element and the ambient environment almost coincide with that of a human body. A control means 13 maintains the heat generating element 8 at a fixed temperature. A judging means 15 judges the warmth condition of the environment from a supply power to the heat generating element 8 from the control means 13 and a detection output of a humidity sensor 14.
