Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the multistage speed control and low-speed driving control of a mover by controlling a traveling-wave component, as a stator is always held in a state of vibration. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency AC voltage outputted from an oscillator 11 is inputted to each of a modulator 13 and an amplifier 16. Out of said AC voltage, a high-frequency AC voltage inputted to the amplifier 16 is amplified as it is, and is inputted to, for example, the electrostrictive element with A phase of an oscillatory wave motor 10. On the other hand, a high-frequency AC voltage from the oscillator 11 inputted to the modulator 13 is subjected to an amplitude modulation by two gains predetermined by the output of a synchronizing pulse generator 12 synchronized with the oscillator 11 and is inputted to the electrostrictive element with B phase of the oscillatory motor 10 via a 90 deg. phase shifter 14, a 180 deg. phase shifter 15 and an amplifier 17.
