Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory low-pass filter characteristic and a band pass filter characteristic by providing a dummy electrode between one input side apodized electrode and one electrode of two output side apodized electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted by coupling one input side apodized electrode 11 and two output side apodized electrodes 12, 13 by a multi- strip coupler 14. Between the electrode 11 and the electrode 12, a dummy electrode 15 is provided between the respective electrodes by which a prescribed tap coefficient is obtained. A band pass filter is formed to a structure which has been turned back, for instance, by 50MHz, and between each electrode, a dummy electrode 15 is provided, by which a satisfactory low-pass characteristic is obtained. Accordingly, by receiving a signal from the input side electrode 11 by the output side electrode 12, a satisfactory low-pass filter characteristic is obtained. Also, by receiving said signal by the electrode 13, a band pass characteristic is obtained.
