Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit by providing the titled detector with a priority encoder for outputting the coordinates of a changing point from a reference point on the basis of input image latch information of a binary image, an adder for accumulatively adding the coordinates of the changing point obtained by said processing and a changing point coordinate latch for holding the output of the adder. CONSTITUTION:Binary image information successively supplied is latched by an input image latch 101. The priority encoder 102 outputs the coordinates of a changing point from the reference point of an input image. The adder 105 adds the output of the encoder 102 to the output of the changing point coordinate latch 103. The added result is sent to the latch 103 and latched. Since said steps are repeated for new information, the changing point coordinate information is successively outputted from the adder 105 and externally latched, so that the absolute coordinates of the changing points in a line can be successively found out. Since a subtractor which is required in an ordinary method can be omitted, the circuit size can be reduced.
