Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the image defect of the titled body due to the stage difference caused by the cutting part of a film by forming an electric charge transfer layer on the titled body by fusing a cylindrical seamless film on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is formed by laminating the charge transfer layer 202 and an electric charge generating layer 203 on the substrate 102. And, the cylindrical substrate 102 is covered with the seamless film 101 constituting of the layer 202, and then, said film 101 is covered with a fluororesin sheet 103, followed by heating and using it, and then, the layer 203 composed of alpha-Si:H, etc., is formed on the layer 202 to form the titled body. In this case, a straight chain high polymer such as P-phenylene sulfide which contains a P-phenylene nucleus, and one or more atoms. selected from the group comprising O, S, Se and Te atoms. at the para position of said nucleus is incorporated in the film 101, thereby obtaining preferably the film having <=10% thermal shrinkage percentage.
