Abstract

PURPOSE: To form the screen photoreceptor for electrophotography which is capable of forming latent images of less out-of-focus, blur, etc. of images by covering the grating-form conductive substrates provided with charge carrier generating layers on one side with charge transport layers.
CONSTITUTION: Charge carrier generating layers 2 of about 0.3W5μ in thickness composed of charge generating material such as Se, CdS, pthalocyanine or other and a binder such as styrene-butadiene copolymer are formed on one side of grating- form conductive substrates 1 composed of metal-made screen of about 100W300 mesh, plastic-made screen having been subjected to conduction treatment, etc. and the charge transport layers 3 composed of charge transport material such as maleic anhydride, hexamethylene diamine or other and a binder are covered thereon, whereby the captioned photoreceptor is formed.
