PURPOSE: To obtain a two-layer type composite photosensitive material for electrophotograph capable of accepting and maintaining charges of different polarities by using an Se-Te type first photoconductive layer and a second photoconductive layer composed of a charge generating layer made of amorphous Se and a charge transferring layer.
CONSTITUTION: First photoconductive layer 2 made of 10W80μ thick amorphous Se-Te alloy layer or composed of a 7W75μ thick amorphous Se layer and a 3W5μ thick amorphous Se-Te alloy layer, and second photoconductive layer 5 composed of 0.5W3μ thick charge generating layer 3 made of amorphous Se and 5W30μ thick charge transferring layer 4 based on an electron donative substance are laminated on electrically conductive substrate 1 to obtain a composite photosensitive material for electrophotograph.
