Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the device by fitting a plunger which has a through hole in the hollow part of an electromagnet arranged in a main body and running an optical fiber through the hollow part and the center part of the through hole. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnet 15 consisting of a cylindrical iron core 15a and a coil 15b is arranged in the hollow part 11a of the main body 11 and the cylindrical plunger 17 which has the through hole 17a is fitted in the electromagnet 15 through a spring 16 so that the plunger can move right and left (lengthwise). Then the optical fiber 12 is run through the through hole 21a of a male screw 21, the hollow part of the electromagnet 15, the through hole 17a of the plunger 17, and the through hole 18a of a switch 18 and then the male screw 12 is engaged threadably with a female screw to fix the optical fiber 12 to one end of the main body. Consequently, the space in the main body is utilized effectively to obtain compact constitution.
