Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent various faulty molding due to poor gas extraction, by a method wherein respective blocks of a mold are formed of a resin having air permeability respectively while metallic thin films, having air permeability, are formed on the molding surfaces of respective blocks or the wall surfaces of a cavity. CONSTITUTION:The principal constitution elements of a fixed mold 10 are a fixed side mounting plate 11, a fixed side template 12, a fixed side cabinet 13 and a core block 14. The projected curved surface 14a and the flat surface 14b of the core block 14, formed of epoxy resin having air permeability, are formed of a thin film (metallic thin film) 14, consist ing of the allow of zinc and titanium. The base end of a suction nozzle 17, penetrated through and fixed to the fixed side template 12 and the lower part of the fixed side cabinet 13, is connected to a cavity 16 while the tip end of the same is connected to a vacuum pump. A metallic thin film, having air permeability, is formed on the surface of a model having the same surface configuration as a molded form to be produced by injection molding, air permeable resin is cast thereon and is cured, thereafter, the block, consisting of the air permeable resin and the metallic thin film formed on the molding surface thereof, is taken out of the mold.
