Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, consumed by field coils, by employing a superconductive body for the field coils. CONSTITUTION:Field coils 1 are excited to generate flux 5 in an iron core 5. The field coils 1 are made of a superconductive body, therefore, current is a permanent current and the flux 5 exists semi-permanently even when a power supply is intercepted after conducting the coils once. An armature coil 6 is arranged fixedly in the gap 41 of the iron core 4. When a flux density changing piece 7 is inserted and withdrawn repeatingly with respect to the gap 41 of the iron core 4, the density of flux, in interlinkage with the armature coil 6, is changed and power is generated in the armature coil 6 by the induction of electrodes.
