Abstract
PURPOSE:To markedly increase the permeance of a magnetic path, to minimize the energy given to a magnet coil to reduce the generation of heat and to reduce power consumption, by magnetically coupling the inner peripheral part of the side yoke on the side opposed to a permanent magnet with a base plate. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic flux generated when a magnet coil 7 is excited draws a closed loop A passing through the side yoke 5, the inner peripheral part of the side yoke, a magnet body 11, the base plate 2 and the core 1 from the armature 6 other than a closed loop passing through a side yoke 5, a permanent magnet 3, a base plate 2 and a core 1 from an armature 6. By the formation of this loop A, the permeance of the magnetic path of the magnet coil 7 can be extremely large and, only by applying slight electric energy to the magnetic coil 7, the armature 6 can be released and the generation of heat from the magnet coil 7 can be reduced.
