Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize the output from a solar battery most effectively, by selecting a secondary battery in accordance with the output current of the solar battery and by preferentially charging the secondary battery with minimum capacity not in the full-charge state. CONSTITUTION:Batteries A and B are charged by the output of a solar battery SB. The battery A is less than the battery B is capacity. By a current detection means 1 the current of the solar battery SB is detected. If it is not enough to charge the battery B, the battery A is charged so long as it can be charged. If the current is able to charge the battery B, the charging state of the battery A is detected by a charging voltage detection means 4 and when not fully charged, the battery A is charged.
