Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely suck a sheet without a risk of dropping thereof, by providing a swingable lever to a support frame for supporting a sucking pad. CONSTITUTION:When a hand device 4 is lowered, sucking pads 8 are pressed against the upper surface of the uppermost of stacked sheets 7, and both ends of the sheet 7 is sucked. Then, the hand device 4 is elevated so as to initiate the lifting of the sheet 7. When the sheet 7 is lifted up to a predetermined height, a swingable lever 16 is swung in association with the drive of a rotary actuator 14, and a rubber 17 at the forward end of the lever 16 is swung and engaged with a rubber 12 on the bottom surface of a side wall 11 through the extended ends of the sheet 7. Accordingly, since there is provided a double holding means such that the hand device 4 sucks by means of the sucking pads 8 both ends of the sheet 7, and further, the both extended ends of the sheet 7 are clamped between the swingable lever 16 and the side wall 11, thereby it is possible to surely suck and hold the sheet 7.
