Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a simple structure allowing easy assembly in the axial direction and securing synchronous rotation property by constitute a neck shaft to be an inner joint member comprising axis-parallel ball-receiving tracks, and also providing the outer member of the joint with axis-parallel ball-receiving tracks. CONSTITUTION: The end portion of a neck shaft 1 has an axis-parallel central line. Specifically, five balls 5 are peripherally disposed and an axis-parallel ball-receiving track 4 with a constant diameter kept movably toward an axial direction is constituted. Balls 5 are kept within one plane by a cage-shaped ring member 6 engaging movably towards the axial direction with an inner groove 7 in outer joint member 8. An outer joint member 8 has an axis-parallel central line, and also has an axis-parallel ball-receiving 9 kept movably toward the axial direction. As a consequence of these constitution features, a simple structure is realized, the insertion assembly in the axial direction can be carried out simply, and a satisfied synchronic rotation property can be secured at a slight bending angle.
