Abstract
An axially displaceable constant-velocity joint with mutually opposite crossed ball tracks in the outer part and in the inner part of the joint and with a ball cage for steering the balls into the bisecting plane during bending of the joint, in which the outer part of the joint is closed at one end by an integrally or permanently attached end wall in relation to the size of the ball cage and inner part of the joint and has axial stops to limit the axial displacement of the outer part and the inner part of the joint relative to one another in both directions. Provided for the outer stop on one of the two components (cage, ring body) involved is a spherical stop surface which is in contact, at least along a circumferential line, with a rotationally symmetrical surface on the other of the components (ring body, cage) involved when the joint is extended as far as the stop.
