Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide excellent responsibility as well as to obtain an accurate opening reference by providing a variable vane opening reference based on both guide vane opening and static head, and directly driving a variable vane servo motor by way of an electrical/mechanical converter and a variable vane pressure distribution valve. CONSTITUTION:A variable vane opening reference RVR is outputted from an output function generator 1 based on guide vane opening GV and static head. The position of a variable vane servo motor 6 is detected by a position detector 3 so as to allow an arithmometer 2 to detect a deviation between the variable vane opening RV from the aforesaid position detector 3 and the variable vane opening reference RVR from the function generator 1. A variable vane pressure distribution valve 5 is driven based on a deviation signal VR from the aforesaid arithmometer 2.
