Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate regulation of output circuit characteristics of a sensor, by a method wherein an output from an intake air amount measuring sensor responding to a given intake air flow rate is previously stored in a memory element, and during measurement of an intake air amount, a fundamental fuel feed amount is determined by using a memory value. CONSTITUTION:A surrounding circuit 6 being one of the constituting elements of an engine control device 7 has a part equivalent to an airflow sensor adapted to measure an intake air flow rate. Since a specified relation formula is established between an intake air flow rate of the airflow sensor and an output voltage, the output voltage of the airflow sensor responding to a given intake air flow rate is previously written in an E<2>PROM 5, and during measurement of an intake air amount, a fundamental feed amount can be determined by using a memory value. This constitution eliminates regulation of output voltage characteristics of an airflow sensor, and enables reduction of a regulation cost and control precision.
