Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain control with high accuracy for pulse period and pulse duty ratio with a simple constitution, by providing a counter deciding a 1st pulse width, a counter deciding a 2nd pulse period, a register and comparator deciding the duty ratio of the 2nd pulse. CONSTITUTION:A one-shot counter 1 deciding the 1st pulse width generates one pulse synchronously with the leading edge of an output control signal N1. Moreover, a counter 2 deciding the period of the 2nd pulse, a data register 3 giving the pulse duty ratio, a comparator 4 comparing the content of the counter 2 with the content of the data register 3 to decide the duty ratio of the 2nd pulse, an OR circuit 5 ORing the output of the comparator 4 and the output of the counter 1 and an AND circuit 6 ANDing the output of an OR circuit 5 and the output control signal N1 are provided. Then the initial value of the counter and the data register value only are set by a microcomputer and a counting clock is sent. Thus, the pulse period and the pulse duty ratio are changed optionally.
