Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the high temp. property of a cladding by welding layer by mixing a carbide ceramic particle at the specified rate in the metal part selected among the C, Si, Mn, Cr, Fe, Ni, Co, W, Ti, Nb, and Al of specified percentages. CONSTITUTION:A composite welding material is composed by the uniform mixture of a matrix metal and carbide ceramics particle. In this case, the metal part is taken as the constituent composition of one or >= two kinds elements selected from <= 2% C, Si, Mn respectively, 5-20% Cr, 30-80% Fe, <=5% Ni, <=50% Co, <=3% Al in wt.%. The mixing rate of the carbide ceramics particle is taken at 20-80%. The seizure resistance, wear resistance and heat resistance of the cladding by welding part metal are improved under high temp. by the dispersion reinforcing action of the ceramics particle. Consequently the high temp. property of the cladding by welding layer is improved.
