Abstract

PURPOSE:To greatly increase the organisms concn. in a tank by separating a circulating liquid to a treated liquid and concd. liquid in a membrane separator, then separating air bubbles and solid matter from the concd. liquid and recirculating the separated liquid to an anaerobic bioreactor. CONSTITUTION:The circulating liquid in the anaerobic bioreactor 11 is separated to the treated liquid and the concd. liquid by the membrane separator 23. The air bubbles and solid matter are separated from the concd. liquid in a sepn. tank 27 and the separated liquid is recirculated in the anaerobic bioreactor 11. As a result, the air bubbles hardly exist in the circulating liquid circulating in the anaerobic bioreactor 11, i.e., the concd. liquid treated in the membrane separator 23. As a result, the concn. of the organisms in the anaerobic bioreactor 11 is greatly increased.
