Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat an org. waste water with high concn. efficiently by using a simple apparatus by a method wherein an org. waste water with high concn. is treated in a first anaerobic tank, an aeration tank, a second anaerobic tank and a precipitation tank successively by utilizing a specific photosynthetic bacteria.
CONSTITUTION: An org. waste water with high concn. is sent into a first anaerobic tank innoculated with Rhodepseudomonas-spherides S strain. Subsequently, the water in the first anaerobic tank is transferred to an aeration tank to be aerated and 2W20 times amount, pref., 3W10 times amount of row-water per day is returned and circulated to the first anaerobic tank. Subsequently, the water passed through the aeration tank is transferred to a second anaerobic tank and, herein, an org. substance and a nitrogen component remained after the circulation treatment of the first anaerobic tank and the aeration tank is treated by photosynthetic bacteria to lower the BOD value further. The water passed through the second anaerobic tank is finally transferred to a precipitation tank and separated into raw sludge and separated liquid by a continuous precipitation device, a continuous flocculation and precipitation treatment device or a continuous centrifugal separator. On the other hand, the sludge in the precipitation tank is returned to the first anaerobic tank in 1W5 times, pref., 1W2 times amount to a raw water amount per day.
