Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently perform antifreezing of a pump with a simple structure and without consuming wasteful electric power by attaching a switching means which intermittently drives the motor of the pump when the atmospheric temperature falls below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When a faucet is tuned off, pressure in a discharge side flow passage in a pump rises and a pressure switch 8 is turned OFF, so that voltage at a reset terminal 10 keeps low and a clock signal generator outputs a specified signal. At this time, when the atmospheric temperature falls and output voltage of a voltage comparator 3 becomes high, each signal of the clock signal generator 9 and the voltage comparator 3 is respectively inputted in an AND gate 12, so that output of the AND gate 12 becomes high as long as the signal of the clock signal generator 9 is high. As a result, voltage of the other input terminal in an OR gate 13 intermittently becomes high, and a motor drive circuit 15 intermittently drives the pump through a motor 16.
