Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate operation, by reciprocating a flexible wiring board with respect to a board, on which a pattern wiring is provided, in a testing apparatus of the board having the pattern, bringing the terminal part of said wiring board into contact with the terminal of the board, and transmitting an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head board 1, which is mounted on a testing stage 3, is brought into contact with a positioning pin 4 and fixed. An electric signal, which is inputted through an electric cable 7, is transmitted to an FPC 20. When compressed air is injected into an air cylinder 8, an FPC holding plate 21 is lowered. A terminal part 20a of the FPC 20 is brought into contact with the terminal of the thermal head board 1. The electric signal from the electric cable 7 is transmitted to the thermal head board 1. Thus a heating resistor 11 is heated. A platen roller 9 is rotated at a speed corresponding to the speed of the electric signal through heat sensitive paper 10. In this sate, the heating resistor 11 is compressed. Then characters and a pattern are printed on the heat sensitive paper 10. Thus the quality of the thermal head board 1 can be judged.
