Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible wiring in simple operation and under a certain fixed condition and to obtain a stable connexion by a method wherein piezo elements and a flexible printed circuit board are pressed and fixed through an elastic substance to wire lead terminals. CONSTITUTION:Flexible printed circuit boards (FPC)23, 24 are held on an ondemand type ink jet head 20 and the FPC's 23, 24 are pressed by head covers 27, 28 on the head 20 from the back of the FPC's 23, 24 through elastic substances 25, 26 such as rubber sheets etc. In this manner the lead terminals are connected completely to the head 20. Besides, the piezo elements 21 are arranged on the surfaces of the head 20 and on the sides of contact surfaces of the FPC's 23, 24 with the head, wirings of copper foil are made to correspond to the arrangement of the piezo elements 21 in the surfaces of the head 20. Accordingly, the connexion between the piezo elements 21 and the FPC's 23, 24 is made by an elastic contact through rubber sheets 25, 26 and when the had covers 27, 28 are removed, the connexion is cut, that is, this device is of detachable type.
