Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize quality and to lessen trouble by sorting the entire amt. of the granular materials pulverized by a roll mill to plural segments with a sieve by each grain size, metering the one segment thereof, comparing the ratio thereof with the total amt. of the pulverized powder with a set value and adjusting a roll gap. CONSTITUTION: The granular materials, such as wheat grains, is pulverized by the roll mill 1. The granular materials pulverized and formed by the roll mill 2 are sorted to the plural segments by each grain size in the sieve 3. The granular material component of the sorted one segment is then metered by a metering machine 5. The flow rate value metered by the metering machine 5 is compared with the predetermined set value in accordance with the total amt. of the granular materials to be pulverized and the roll gap of the roll mill 2 is adjusted in accordance with the result of the comparison in an adjustment mechanism 6. Consequently, the stable running of the milling system is made possible and the stabilization of quality and the lessening of the trouble are made possible without requiring a large scale controller.
