Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively consume the generated electric power by giving the magnifying correction to the level of the output signal produced by an output detecting means only when the output current of a solar battery is larger than the output current set right before a short circuit by a specific multiple. CONSTITUTION:A photovoltaic power generation controller consists of a slar battery 1, an output detecting means 2, a reference signal generating means 3, a signal comparing means 4, a switch means 6, a battery 7, etc. These means 3, 4 and 6 form a load control circuit 11. Furthermore a short switch 12 is added to open and close a short resistor 15 set at the next stage side of the means 2 together with an output signal correction circuit 13. These switch 12 and circuit 13 are connected to a short switch control circuit 16, the means 2 and the circuit 11 respectively. Thus the circuit 13 works in case the output current obtained when the battery 1 has the resistance short is larger than the value obtained by multiplying the output current set right before the short by (1+alpha) (alpha=0-0.5). Then the level of the output signal is increased upto the value corresponding to the output equal to the maximum output value or so.
