Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the step difference caused by inner electrodes by a method wherein electrode layers and a dielectric layer are previously formed on a base film to be thermo-pressure fixed and replicated on the surface of an unfired ceramic sheet. CONSTITUTION:A hot plate 18 is arranged on one side of a base film 14a whereon electrode layers 16 and a dielectric layer 17 are not formed by printing process. On the other hand, another base film 14 and an unfired ceramic sheet 15 fixed on a base 13 are arranged on the other side of the base film 14a whereon the layers 16 and the layer 17 are formed. First, the layers 16 and the layer 17 formed on the surface of the film 14a are thermo-pressure fixed on the surface of the sheet 15 by the hot plate 18. Second, the layers 16 and the layer 17 on the film 14a are replicated on the surface of the sheet 15 by the hot plate 18 to from the replicated electrode layers 20 and the replicated dielectric layer 21. Through these procedures, electrodes can be formed averting the unfavorable effect of a solvent while preventing the ruggedness from being caused by inner electrodes.
