Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable simple regulation of the set load of a spring after a mechanism is mounted on a car body, by a method wherein a piston to support a spring hoe is inserted in a cylinder body to form a chamber, and pressure oil is fed and discharged to and from the chamber. CONSTITUTION:A piston 31 is engaged internally of a cylinder body 30 to form a chamber 32, a cylinder tube 35 of a regulating cylinder 34 is situated to the piston 31 through a spring shoe 33, and a lever body 37 is coupled to a piston 36. A spring 39 is situated to the spring shoe 33 and a moving disc 38 to bring the moving disc 38 into contact with a stopper 40 of the lever body 37, and the chamber 32 and a chamber 34a of the regulating cylinder 34 are connected to an oil pressure source 42 through a switching valve 41. In this constitution, by controlling the feed of pressure oil to the chamber 32 and the chamber 34a through change-over of the switching valve 41, the spring shoe 33 is moved together with the piston 31, and the set load of the spring 39 can be regulated.
