Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the construction of concrete piles having high bearing capacity by a method in which an existing tip pile is attached to the tip of a casing and penetrated into the ground, and while placing concrete into the pit, the casing is drawn out. CONSTITUTION:A tip pile 2 is attached through a clutch mechanism 4 to the tip of a casing 1, a reinforcing bar cage 5 is fixed to the inside of the casing. An opening or closing bit 6 in which arms 6a are foldable by pins 6b is attached along the periphery of the pile 2 to the casing 1. The lower end of a rod 7 is connected to the tip pile 2 and penetrated into the ground. The clutch mechanism 4 is removed, and concrete is placed by leaving the pit 2 behind, during which period the casing and the rod are drawn out. The concrete pile fixed to the bearing ground, having high bearing forces, can thus be constructed.
