Abstract

PURPOSE: To drive a concrete pile having a unified diameter and strength by a method wherein the ground is drilled by means of a steel pipe having friction cutters on the peripheral surface and a removable bit at the point and while pulling out the steel pipe, concrete is placed.
CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe 3 having a spiral type friction cutter 1 on the peripheral surface and a removable bit 2 at the lower end is vertically held on the ground surface and it is rotated and excavates the ground with the bit 2 to drill into the ground. Next thereto, after the bit 2 is removed from the steel pipe 3, a reinforced bar cage 7 is placed within the steel pipe. The steel pipe 3 is rotated reversely and is raised upward leaving the bit 2 at the hole bottom and the steel pipe 3 is pulled out of the ground. At this time, concrete is supplied by pressure from the pipe 8 for a pressure feeding of concrete which is installed in the steel pipe 3. Then, the concret is filled in the drilled hole 9 and it is hardened to form a concrete pile.
