Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform inspection in a fast inspection line by conveying an object successively in order, guiding incident light from a light source to the flank of the object in synchronism with the conveyance, and guiding its reflected light to an image pickup means in synchronism with the conveyance. CONSTITUTION:The mirror surface of a vibrating mirror 10 rotates around a rotary shaft in a direction F at a speed a half as fast as the rotating speed of a conveying device 1 in synchronism with the rotation of a conveying device 1, and the incident light 6 from a slit light source 8 is held in invariably the same relative relation with the mouth part flank of a bottle 4 between two auxiliary rollers 15. Further mirrors 11 which guide the reflected light 7 to the vibrating mirror 10 again are installed as many as respective bottle positions on the conveying device 1 and rotate together with the conveying device 1, and the reflected light 7 is also held in invariably the same relative relation with the mouth part flank of the bottle 4. Further, the reflected light 7 passes through the vibrating mirror 10, so it is incident on a television camera 2 at all times.
