Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fixed drum type apparatus capable of preventing scattering the length of yarn by forming the front edge side at the tip of rotating lever as a transfer hook and forming the rear edge side as an engaging hook, restricting and traveling weft at a rate equal to peripheral speed of the rotating lever in weft insertion and transferring weft in the following weft insertion to a yarn storage drum by a transfer hook. CONSTITUTION: In this fixed drum type weft storage apparatus of a shuttleless loom, a circumferential step part 22 is provided between a length measuring drum 8 and a yarn storage drum 10 and the front edge part at the tip of a rotating lever 15 integrally rotated with a rotating yarn feed guide 2 is formed as a transfer hook and the rear edge part is formed as an engaging hook 31. Weft 6 unreeled in weft insertion is fed out at a rate equal to peripheral speed of a rotating lever 15 in a state engaged with the engaging hook 31 and restricted and traveled. When weft insertion is finished, tension acting on the weft 6 is opened and the rotating lever 15 is separated from the weft 6 and the transfer hook 30 transfers weft 6 for the following weft insertion to the yarn storage drum 10. Thereby, slippage of the weft 6 is prevented and dispersion of weft length can be reduced.
