Currently, cement structures (concrete structures),
Epoxy-based waterproofing agents are used particularly for the purpose of waterproofing walls of cement structures that come into contact with water. By the way, this epoxy waterproofing agent has a good surface finish and looks beautiful, but it has the disadvantage that it has poor adhesion when moisture adheres to the wall surface during construction.
Furthermore, in the case of an uneven wall surface, putty is applied as an undercoat to smooth the wall surface and fill in pinholes, but this work requires a considerable amount of construction work. An epoxy waterproofing agent will be applied over this putty coating, but in order to ensure sufficient waterproofing performance, this expensive waterproofing agent must be applied to a certain thickness. This will lead to an increase in costs.

The present inventor has conducted various studies on waterproofing methods using epoxy waterproofing agents, which have excellent workability and can reduce costs, on the premise that waterproofing performance is not impaired. A cement-based inorganic penetrating waterproofing agent containing SiO 2 as a main component, which reacts with calcium in the cement component to form crystals, is applied to the surface, and an epoxy-based waterproofing agent is applied on the formed base waterproofing layer. It has been discovered that the coating method can fully achieve the above object, and the present invention has been completed. An example of a cement-based inorganic penetrating waterproofing agent containing an inorganic component that reacts with calcium in the cement component to form crystals, which is used as a base waterproofing agent, is "Hiday", a product of West Germany's Hiday Company. . This base waterproofing agent is applied to the surface of cement structures (concrete structures) or cement products (mainly concrete products) as an aqueous liquid with a viscosity of approximately 10,000 to 20,000 cps.
It is applied by a commonly used method such as brushing, troweling, or spraying, and is dried to form a waterproof layer thereon. At this time, this waterproofing agent has an adhesive effect and dries.
In order to prevent peeling due to temperature changes, a resin emulsion may be added.

This cement-based inorganic penetrating waterproofing agent sufficiently penetrates defects such as irregularities, pinholes, and cracks in the cement structures or cement products, as well as bricks, stones, and other calcium-containing materials. There, it reacts with the calcium content in the cement components to form crystals such as calcium orthosilicate (Ca 2 SiO 4 ) and calcium metasilicate (Ca 2 SiO 3 ), thereby sufficiently repairing the defective areas. Together with this, a waterproof layer is formed over the entire area where it is applied.

In particular, such base waterproofing agents can be effectively applied to areas that do not accept adhesion of epoxy waterproofing agents, such as cement structures that come into contact with water, and are therefore suitable for use in closed rooms where it is difficult to dry, and where water is used. When applied to existing structures, it is possible to quickly repair with a shortened construction period, and for newly constructed structures, it can be applied immediately after removing the formwork, so it can be applied to No waiting period is required to dry the structure. In this respect as well,
It is superior to putty treatment, which is very difficult to apply when the base is wet and has low work efficiency. Moreover,
Since this waterproofing agent passes drinking water standards, it can be safely used in purification facilities such as distribution reservoirs, water purification ponds, and filtration ponds.

The coating of the epoxy waterproofing agent on the base waterproofing layer thus formed is carried out according to a conventional method. The thickness of the base waterproofing agent is approximately 0.7 ~
If you apply an epoxy waterproofing agent to a thickness of about 0.1 to 0.2mm on top of 1.2mm (approximately 0.7mm or less is too thin, and more than approximately 1.2mm may cause cracks), the epoxy waterproofing agent A waterproofing effect equal to or greater than that obtained when applied with a thickness of approximately 0.5 mm is obtained.
Since the amount of expensive epoxy waterproofing agent used is significantly reduced, this will significantly contribute to lowering costs. Not only that, when an epoxy waterproofing agent is used alone, it may not be able to follow the changes in the structure itself after curing, resulting in cracking or peeling phenomena, but when this base waterproofing agent is used, The base waterproof layer, which is well adhered to the structure etc., flexibly responds to changes in the structure etc. even after curing and acts as a buffer, so cracking and peeling phenomena can be prevented to some extent. Hit 0.2
It can adequately handle crack widths on the order of mm.
