Abstract

PURPOSE:To make associated apparatus in small size and with high performance at a low cost by restricting components of BaO, Ta2O5, ZnO, CoO to respective specific values of content, thereby providing a great dielectric constant and small dielectric loss, and by lessening the temperature coefficient. CONSTITUTION:In a dielectric porcelain compound consisting of BaO, Ta2O5, ZnO, and CoO, each content by wt.% shall range 46.36<BaO<47.42, 44.39<Ta2O5<45.63, 2.49<ZnO<8.28, and 0<CoO<5.36. For ex., BaO, Ta2O5, ZnO, and CoO are weighted to respective specified quantities and mixed by wet method using a ball mill, and the mixture is provisionally baked upon dehydration and drying, at 1200 deg.C for 5 hours. The result is crushed by wet method using ball mill, granulated, and press molded with a pressure of 1000kg/cm<2> into a column of a specific size, followed by the final process as baking at 1500-1600 deg.C for 10-30 hours to accomplish a resonator of dielectric porcelain.
