Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-frequency vibrator having a wide band and low loss by using a component acquired by adding and containing MnO2 to a solid solution of PbTiO3 and La2/3TiO3. CONSTITUTION:A component in a sange of 0.006<=x<=0.018, 0.100<=y<=0.250 is used in composition indicated by (1-x) [(1-y) PbTiO3+yLa2/3TiO3]+xMnO2. First, the raw materials of PbO. TiO2, La2O3, and MnO2 are weighed so as to satisfy the composition. These are mixed, baked and polarized, an electrode is mounted and a piezo-electric porcelain resonator is formed. Since a vibrator using such a component has a large electromechanical coupling factor kt and a large mechanical quality coefficient QM, the resonator having a wide zone and low loss can be formed.
