Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a control circuit exclusively used for an initial load line and a software for the circuit and to lower the cost of a communication control unit by providing a switching means to switch a subscriber line and an initial load line and to execute connection to a subscriber line control circuit and executing the loading of subscriber data with using one part of the subscriber line. CONSTITUTION:At the rising time of the unit, a control means 20a connects an initial loading unit 10 through an initial load line 30 to any one of subscriber line control circuits 25 by a switching means 50. Data for initial load line control, which are stored to a first memory (ROM) 11, are stored to the first area of a second memory (RAM) 21a. After the loading is ended, the initial loading unit 10 is separated by the switching means 50 and the subscriber line is returned to be original. Further, the data for subscriber line control are stored to the second area of the RAM 21a and pointer data are switched from the first area to the second area. Thus, the control circuit exclusively used for the initial load line is not needed and the cost of the device can be lowered.
